We went on the fish & chip sailing last night, it was amazing. As it was early evening and high tide, the trip we were able to get very close to the beaches and saw some interesting wildlife (inc a seal).

The food is picked up at Brixham and delivered to the boat fresh. If you've not tried Rockfish, their fish is great.

The skipper who did a commentary (& not the usual scripted commentaries with faux humour one gets on some trips with other providers), he showed he knew the area as he was a local lad who was a fisherman & knew the land and the water. His passion for the area came over.

If you're in Torquay, Paigton or Brixham, they pick up from all 3, do this trip. read less..

We... read more...My friend and I had a very pleasant evening on the Fish & Chips cruise on Sunday, 4th August. We learned a great deal about our beautiful local coastline and had a very yummy fish and chips supper, and saw seals and porpoise. A lovely evening with very friendly crew.
The following day I did the Teignmouth Round Robin (Teignmouth to Brixham landing for a couple of hours, a boat from Brixham to Paignton and a train ride back from Paignton to Teignmouth) I actually managed to combine it with the additional one hour wildlife cruise from Brixham around Berry Head. It was a lovely interesting day at sea with a very jolly skipper and extremely patient crew. I actually saw dolphins on the wildlife cruise and several seals throughout the day! :-) The Teignmouth Round Robin was very well organised; we were even given maps to help find the train station at Paignton as well as relevant train times for journeying back to Teignmouth which proved extremely useful.
I really recommend the WeFerry boat trips and will be back! :-) Thank you all. read less..
