Trip Itinerary – Everything you need to know.

Begin at Dawlish Warren Railway Station…

Your adventure starts at Dawlish Warren Railway Station: Meet our staff member between 10:30am and 11:30am to collect your train tickets on the day of your sailing… You can choose any Great Western Railway train to Teignmouth (two stops down the line).

The journey to Teignmouth Railway Station takes about 10 minutes along what is arguably the most breath-taking section of the famous Riviera Line and offers spectacular views out to sea.

Arrive in Teignmouth… Then meet your friendly boat crew!

‘Photo: One of the Town Maps (Teignmouth) you’ll receive when you book our day out…

Your map of Teignmouth Town will open your eyes up to the vast amount of things to see and do in Teignmouth. It’s certainly worth popping back down the line to spend a whole day just here! There are numerous boutique shops, coffee shops, restaurants and traditional pubs to fill your time…

We recommend having lunch here before the second leg of your journey begins. You will be boarding our historical vessel, Brixham Belle at the Teignmouth Town Pontoon – opposite the New Quay Inn Pub & Back Beach. A direct walk from Teignmouth Station to the boat departure point will take approx 10 minutes, and is mainly flat.

Board at Teignmouth for the 1pm coastal cruise to Brixham…

Your boat crew will arrive and welcome you on-board at approximately 1pm.. (you cant miss her coming up The River Teign in her bright WeFerry livery!)

As we leave Teignmouth for the sea crossing to Brixham (Fishtown) – The crew will give you a full safety announcement, before pointing out spots and places of interest on the shoreline.

Overlooking the inner harbour you’ll find Sir Drake’s “Golden Hind”, the museum ship replica. Plenty of boutique shops, quirky cocktail bar’s and traditional pubs and restaurants

The train station here is a 10 – 15 minute flat walk from the Harbour, via Paignton Beach… Here you can visit Paignton Pier – hit the 2p machines and enjoy an ice cream.

When you’re ready, head up the bustling Torbay Road to catch any Great Western Railway service from Paignton back to Dawlish. You’ll experience the scenic Riviera Line once again and after about 25 minutes – you’ll arrive back where you started your South Devon adventure.
