We recommend having lunch here before the second leg of your journey begins. You will be boarding our historical vessel, Brixham Belle at the Teignmouth Town Pontoon – opposite the New Quay Inn Pub & Back Beach. A direct walk from Teignmouth Station to the boat departure point will take approx 10 minutes, and is mainly flat.

Take the Great Western Railway back to Dawlish Station…

The walk to Paignton Railway Station relatively flat and takes about 10 – 15 minutes from the Harbour. Stop for a moment to enjoy an ice cream & walk along Paignton’s golden sandy Beach… Here you can visit Paignton Pier and enjoy the amusements.

Ready to leave? Stroll on up the busy Torbay Road to catch any Great Western Railway service from Paignton back to Dawlish. You’ll experience the scenic sea & river views of The Riviera Line (for about 20 minutes) and arrive back where you started your South Devon adventure.
